  1. Who is Mr. Fatscci, and why should I care what he believes?

  2. Mr. Fatscci is a joke. A rather poor one. Now it’s two weeks. There isn’t anything new. Thanks for noticing.

  3. I thought it was a quite funny joke, actually.

  4. The first thing that I look at in a room is the ceiling. What about you all?

  5. I look in front of me when I look at a room. I rarely look at ceilings. Unless it’s the vatican. Then, I have a reason to look.

  6. I look at the people in the room first. Then if there wasn’t anyone creepy or threatening or someone I particularly wanted to talk to, I will look at the windows. Unless there’s a musical instrument in the room. If so, that gets my attention next.

I hope you guys are having fun on your trip to the windy city!

  7. We did have fun on our trip to the windy city.

Also, I have a new and exciting topic which I want to talk about with myself and/or anyone else who has something to contribute:

    Timepieces.

  8. I think that every room should have a clock in it synchronized to the atomic clock.

  9. Yes, however no one ought to wear a watch.

  10. I don’t.

“Should” is a moral imperative, implying that it is immoral if a room does not have atom-synched clock. It implies that it is the duty of every good citizen to supply each room of his house with said clocks.

This is infeasible. And would be really annoying for those of us who would like to be late with legitimate excuse at times. :)

  11. That’s true. I would have to stop using the ever-popular “Sorry I was late, but the room I was in didn’t have an atomic clock” excuse that I usually use. :-)

But, are you quite certain should should always be considered to imply ethical injunction? And I quote “… cause you know sometimes words have two meanings …”

  12. From what are you quoting?

  13. Will not the act of finding out be a fun activity for you? I’ll give you a hint: Hindenburg. ;-)

  14. Didn’t know there was such a thing as chat on blogger nor that you had a blog.

  15. By “chat” I mean a place where people can comment about things that aren’t related to a particular post. :-) But, yes I do have a blog.

I didn’t know YOU had one! I shall add it to my links.

  16. I can’t seem to find away to comment on your ‘Disconnected’ post, so I’ll comment here:
    I’ll be praying for you.

  17. Hey Josiah… I am praying for you too. Also, remember that the end of the semester is (at most) three weeks away, so you’ll get a much-needed break pretty soon.

  18. Beth and Jed, thanks so much for the encouragement. Your friendship prayers are very much much appreciated.

As far as the comments go, I just upgraded my blog, and it seems to be acting up. I’ll look into it.

  19. HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!

  20. Thanks! It has been so far!!!

  21. I really need to do something about the ordering of these comment pages, though…

  22. Josiah, a blog is a very important responsibility. It means that you are saying you have great truths to communicate to the masses. It takes time. It takes skill. It takes commitment. It means that you gotta give blood – ya gotta give sweat – ya gotta give tears! You cannot let your reading public down! You cannot let those readers who depend upon you be disappointed! Thus, Josiah, I tell you – you have a lot more writing to do Specifically, you need to finish with Situation 2 of Catching Flies, do the sequel to Note to Self, and write more about Estella! I know you’re not busy at all…..:)

  23. Beloprah, I will endeavor heartily to add the three bodily fluids you mentioned to this blog. :-) However, “Catching Flies” was the sequel to “Note to Self.”
